Facility plan approval files, 1969-[ongoing].

The Division of Industrial Waste Water implements programs to prevent or clean up the pollution of surface and ground water in Massachusetts by industry. Entities authorized to construct, own, operate, extend, or improve abatement facilities nust submit preliminary engineering reports ofinal engineering plans to the division for approval (MGLA c 21, 33B). Approval files were created by the division to review, revise, and approve plans for treatment facilities.
